Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Monton Cleaning Service Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. About Us
Monton Cleaning Service Ltd is a family run cleaning business based in Monton, Greater Manchester. We provide domestic and commercial cleaning services across Manchester and surrounding areas.

2. Our Services
We provide a range of cleaning services including, but not limited to: domestic cleaning, commercial cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, deep cleaning, oven cleaning, and one-off spring cleans. The specific services to be provided will be agreed between us and the client prior to commencement of work.
We reserve the right to refuse any booking or service at our discretion.
3. Bookings and Quotes
All quotes provided by Monton Cleaning Service Ltd are estimates based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Final pricing may vary if the scope of work differs from what was originally described.
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date, time, and price with the client. We will confirm bookings by phone or email.
We reserve the right to amend pricing where the condition of the property or the scope of work is materially different from what was described at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances change. We ask that clients give us as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a booking — ideally at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover the cost of the operative's time and travel.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in exceptional circumstances (e.g. operative illness, extreme weather). We will always endeavour to give as much notice as possible and to find an alternative date that suits the client.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash and bank transfer.
For regular cleaning contracts, payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Access to Premises
The client is responsible for ensuring that our operatives have safe and unobstructed access to the premises at the agreed time. If access cannot be gained, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee.
Where keys are provided to us, we will handle them with the utmost care and discretion. Keys will be stored securely and will not be labelled with the client's address.
7. Equipment and Materials
Monton Cleaning Service Ltd supplies all cleaning materials and equipment unless otherwise agreed. We use professional-grade, safe cleaning products appropriate for the surfaces being cleaned.
If the client requests the use of specific products, they must be provided by the client and we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by client-supplied products.
8. Liability
We carry full public liability insurance. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our operatives, we will endeavour to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
Any claims for damage must be reported to us within 24 hours of the cleaning visit. We cannot accept liability for damage reported after this period.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage caused by items that were not properly secured or were in an unstable condition prior to our visit.
Our total liability to any client in respect of any claim shall not exceed the value of the cleaning service provided.
9. Health and Safety
Our operatives are trained in Health & Safety procedures and will not carry out work that they deem to be unsafe. The client is responsible for informing us of any hazards on the premises prior to our visit.
Our operatives reserve the right to refuse to clean areas that pose a health or safety risk, including but not limited to: areas with biological hazards, extreme clutter that prevents safe access, or areas with structural damage.
10. Confidentiality
We treat all information about our clients and their premises as strictly confidential. Our operatives are bound by confidentiality obligations and will not disclose any information about clients or their properties to third parties.

11. Non-Solicitation
Clients agree not to directly employ or engage any operative introduced to them by Monton Cleaning Service Ltd for a period of 12 months following the termination of their contract with us. A referral fee may be payable if this condition is not observed.
12. Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to providing a high-quality service. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us within 24 hours of the cleaning visit and we will endeavour to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
